Namibia PLAN Fighters

Namibia PLAN fighters refers to the military  wing of South west Africa people's organisation. PLAN means people's Liberation Army of Namibia. PLAN fought against the south African Defence Force ( SADF)

 and South West African Territorial Force ( SWATF).PLAN had more than 32 000 militants under arms including three three battalions of semi-conventional troops equipped with heavy weapons. PLAN launched its largest  and final offensive  late April and beginning of March in 1989. They fought until Namibia Got independence in 1990 .

Namibia Independence Day

Namibia’s Independence Day, which Happened on March 21, 1990, marked a very important  moment in the country’s history. After approximately 75 years of being under South African control, Namibia emerged as the world’s newest independent nation. The ceremony took place at Windhoek’s sports stadium, where the South African flag was lowered, making way for Namibia’s new flag a vibrant combination of red, blue, green, and gold.
